Twaimarika works with the unemployed and financially marginalized in Kenya.
We have a working model that is sustainable – and nearly 20M enthusiasts ready for the possibilities that awaits them. Let’s give them a chance!
So far, 450 women, youth and men have been trained, 400 are under gainful employment and a future full of possibilities.
Every item you buy, has a story of hope behind it.
You too can partner with us in this life-changing journey. Here’s how you can support this initiative:
A $100 donation can fund the training of one beneficiary, equipping them with the skills to earn a living.
By donating $500, you can help purchase equipment, tools and essential raw materials such as leather, beads, and tools for artisans to create their products.
You can give in part or fully towards the setting up of self-sustaining production centres at $20,000. This centre will exclusively run for the benefit of these vulnerable communities. All the profits generated will be used to expand this model and provide jobs for new beneficiaries in perpetuity, expanding the reach beyond Kenya.
To improve learning outcomes of beneficiary children, you can give towards the transformation of an existing classroom into a resource centre by giving a one-time gift of $8,000. Building one would cost $16,000 while annual maintenance of the resource centre costs $800 per annum.
Any form of giving will be consolidated to support training or material purchase.
Together, we can create a future where every individual, young and old, has a chance to thrive. Join us in empowering lives—one craft, one beneficiary, one family at a time.
